On to Canada

We left Bar Harbor about 8AM this morning. About 12 miles down the road, we stopped for gas. As we were leaving, Jim's gas tank started leaking. It was a quick fix and we were on the road again. We drove Hwy. 9 for a long time almost to Calais, Maine. Boy it is in the middle of no where! We ate lunch just before we crossed the border. I had some really good strawberry shortcake. We crossed the border in Calais. It was a breeze. The welcome center there was very helpful. We drove to St. John's to see the reversing falls and spend the night. It was pretty amazing to look at the falls and how quickly they reverse when the tide comes in. Tonight is Ray & Teri's 46th anniversary. We are getting a taxi so everyone can have a drink at dinner. Tomorrow we are going to Alma via the Fundy Trail.
