North Woods Ranger & Ben & Jerry's Today

Today started with oil changes at Walmart for all. Ray wanted the universal joint greased. He asked about having it done while at Walmart. The guy there crawled under the car and did it himself using Walmart tools and wouldn't charge Ray for it. Tom adjusted the points on his car and it wouldn't start when time to go. It was a quick fix when he found a little dirt in the points. I went to Walmart while they were doing the oil changes. When I returned, Jim was starting his car and I saw smoke. He immediately turned off the car and Ray ran over and grabbed the oil breather tube that was on fire. It was easy to put out and most important, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE to Jim's car!!! We returned to the hotel and we were talking to a couple of car guys. One was a ranger. It took a few minutes for us to recognize the ranger. He is Ranger McCabe from Discovery Channel's North Woods Law. What a nice guy! We had our picture taken with him. We left the hotel around 11AM, stopped an hour later for lunch at a diner with a car on top in Mexico, Maine. The scenery today was spectacular. We were mainly on US Route 2 through Maine, New Hampshire, and stopping in Montpelier, VT for the night. We went to Ben & Jerry's Factory for a tour. It included free samples Of ice cream. There is a graveyard there of retired ice cream flavors. I took a picture of the tombstone that was the Georgia Peach. All on all, it was a very nice day.
