Buffalo, NY Today

We left the hotel about 8:30AM today continuing on the scenic US Highway, Route 2. We drove through the beautiful countryside with rolling hills and big red barns. We ate lunch at Emma's Cafe in Cazenodia, NY. It had old booths that had many initials carved in them. It was cash only and they would not split up the check. It was reasonably priced and everyone said the clam chowder was good. We took an afternoon ice cream break and saw the sign in the window. When Jim got out of his car, he discovered that he had hit a bird and it was wedged between the step plate and the body of the car. It was his second bird kill. We continued on our way and decided to drive US90 to Buffalo, NY. We stayed in the right lane but people kept slowing down to take pictures. Since Jim's car is being judged, he wanted it detailed and that's what he is doing in Buffalo. Tomorrow will be a lazy day before we cross over into Canada again.
