Bay of Fundy & More

We left St John by 9AM headed for Fundy Bay driving on Fundy Bay Coastal Drive. It was very scenic and our cars got dusty from all of the road construction. It reminded me a little the AlCan. We ate lunch in Alma overlooking the Bay of Fundy. It was 30 minutes past high tide and it was amazing to see the waterline drop while we were eating lunch. Betty heard about Kelly's Bakery in Alma. So we had to stop there on the way out of town. We did have some good sticky buns, peanut butter balls, peanut butter and chocolate brownies from there. Next stop was the Hopewell Rocks where you can walk down 102 steps to walk on the ocean floor, at low tide, of course. It would be easy to spend a few hours there looking at creatures left behind as the tide went out. The picture taken was from the overlook. Another picture is of a shoe tree. The sign says "Walk For Hope". It was near Hopewell British Columbia. We planned to drive back to St. John but the hotel rooms were sold out. So we decided to spend the night in Monkton. We will start to head back to the USA tomorrow. I was surprised at the bilingual signs. We aren't in Montreal. There were also a lot of other interesting signs too. The picture from the lookout center is of me below on the ocean floor but the tide is out. Our mileage to date is 2,682.
